LAKE SUCCESS NY — August 5, 2013

Arnouse Digital Devices, Corp. (ADDC) announced the release of two new Micro readers for the BioDigitalPC®(a credit card sized computer), the Micro R-1 and Micro R-2. The readers are intended for OEM’s developing tablets, laptops, televisions, etc., as a connector breakout interface for BioDigitalPC® cards. The Micro R-1 is 1.929” X 0.725” and has pads to interface with 5V/4A input power, 4 USBs, 1 PCIe , and DP . The Micro R-2 is 2.7” X 1.2” and has 5V/4A input power, 5 USB 2.0 ports (3 micro USBs, 1 standard USB header and 1 standard USB pad), 1 PCIe connector and Mini DisplayPort.

The Micro R-1 and Micro R-2 readers can easily be embedded into BioDigitalPC® laptop readers. The BioDigitalPC® ecosystem allows users to update their laptop without throwing away the monitor/keyboard hardware, by purchasing a laptop reader with the Micro R-1 or Micro R-2 embedded. When there are technological advances, the user keeps the laptop with the embedded reader and simply replaces the credit card sized computer, this significantly lowers the quantity of e-waste.

The BioDigitalPC® ecosystem allows for a full computing experience, while consuming approximately 90% less electricity. The system uses at most 10 watts of energy, as opposed to the 90 watts that average computers use. “The BioDigitalPC® ecosystems solves the problem of the mounds of e-waste created by old and obsolete electronics, all while creating a more energy efficient computing platform. The BioDigitalPC® ecosystem will significantly decrease the carbon footprint we leave for our children to deal with,” said Michael Arnouse, CEO and Founder of ADDC.
