Arnouse Digital Devices, Corp. (ADDC), today introduced the BioDigitalPC® 8, the latest extension of the BioDigitalPC® family of products. The BioDigitalPC® 8 is a credit card sized, low-power x86 computing platform encased in rock-hard epoxy. This renders it waterproof, fire-resistant, rugged and highly secure, ideal for the harshest of environments. The BioDigitalPC® 8 is equipped with AMD’s latest 28nm Steppe Eagle quad core processor that includes the highly secure Trusted Platform Module and AMD’s trust PSP encryption and security functions. This latest AMD CPU is a 60% jump in CPU performance allowing you to do more with less. The BioDigitalPC® 8 comes complete with a quad core CPU, up to 8GB DDR3 memory and up to 128GB SSD.
“This latest BioDigitalPC® card is a perfect example of how the BioDigitalPC® ecosystem can help increase the adoption of higher performance computing solutions without the need to revamp entire IT structures or endpoints,” Michael Arnouse, Chairman and CEO stated. “Anyone who has already adopted the platform can simply start using the new card without the need to purchase extra hardware. We are very pleased with this upgrade in the overall performance of the platform.”
“The BioDigitalPC® 8, with its low-power, high-performance, and secure CPU, allows for unprecedented scalability and security for IoT Fog controllers,” Arnouse continued.
ADDC is committed to promoting and supporting the BioDigitalPC® ecosystem with new cards, readers and products in order to save its clients’ time, money and effort in this ever changing technology environment. By utilizing the BioDigitalPC® ecosystem, a client may save up to 70% of their IT infrastructure and capital costs over a period of five years.
Measuring only 54mm x 84mm x 6mm, the BioDigitalPC® is the smallest most powerful x86 computing platform on the market today.
