Arnouse Digital Devices, Corp. (ADDC) announced today the newest product in their revolutionary BioDigitalPC® ecosystem: The BioDigitalPC® Commander Tablet Dock.
The Commander, which is built to work with the credit card sized BioDigitalPC®, is equipped with a CAC card reader, full 1Gb Ethernet, three full USB 2.0 ports and one USB 3.0 port, highly accurate GPS with external antenna, front and rear facing cameras, internal WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, and a 10.1″ screen with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels.
The Commander was built to a semi-rugged specification for tough environments and runs for four to six hours(depending on which BioDigitalPC® is powered, the dual or quad-core) on battery. A battery indicator is on the dock itself so that battery level is known regardless of whether a BioDigitalPC® card is inserted or not.
It weighs 2lb. 13oz. and is able to run any of the BioDigitalPC® family line of ultra-small form factor BioDigitalPC® computer cards.
“This tablet dock is a continuation of ADDC’s commitment to bringing new and ingenious products to market,” said Michael Arnouse, CEO and founder of ADDC. “An owner of a BioDigitalPC® can now take their computing experience from a desktop situation to a tablet form factor in a matter of seconds without any downtime or loss of information while maintaining the highest security possible.”
The BioDigitalPC® Commander Tablet Dock is joining the micro form factor Quick Connect, monitors and various other docking stations in the BioDigitalPC® ecosystem. With the addition of a tablet, BioDigitalPC® users now have increased flexibility of form factor when choosing a work environment.
