A major advancement in density and small-form factor computing, Arnouse Digital Devices Corp. (ADDC) has unveiled its latest electronic marvel, the credit card-sized server blade called the BioDigitalPC® 12.
Able to run the most demanding operating systems, the BioDigitalPC® 12 (PC12) comes equipped with Intel’s 8th generation Core i7 quad-core 8 thread CPU, with high-speed DDR4 memory for superior performance. The PC12 is available with 512GB or 1TB on board NVMe SSD storage.
This is the 7th generation of the BioDigitalPC® for ADDC, which started manufacturing the credit card-sized ultra-powerful computers in 2011. With an approximate TDP of 15W, the PC12 can run server-based operating systems like CentOS, Microsoft Windows Server, VMware ESXi and many others.
The BioDigitalPC® platform allows for quick deployment of server systems, uses less than 7% of traditional server’s space, runs at room temperature with no extra cooling.
“Our innovations continue to shape the compute world. The PC12 is a credit card-sized server blade, powerful enough for commercial data center use”, said Michael Arnouse Chairman and CEO of ADDC. “The PC12 server blade combined with our Mobile Data Center (MDC) or the SR-60 docking product line are perfect for a secure edge compute solution and can be placed in an office closet”.
The PC12 can run any x86-64 operating system including Windows, Windows Server, LINUX, VMWare ESXi, CentOS, RHEL, and Ubuntu. It is backward compatible with all BioDigitalPC® docking stations, MDCs and integrated readers. It is ready to provide a single or mesh compute solution.
All BioDigitalPC® cards have a waterproof, dustproof, fire-resistant, rugged, epoxy coating. Ringed with anodized aluminum, BioDigitalPC® cards can perform in harsh ambient conditions.
