The R8K-ME is our R8K with a metal enclosure. All designed and manufactured in the USA by ADDC. It is a docking station for the BioDigitalPC card made to be used as a router, fire wall, switch, desktop dock, voip, etc. All you need is to plug in a PC card configured with your software to effortlessly create any of the above or a network appliance that leverages the BioDigital platform. The R8K-ME comes one USB 2.0 port, one USB 3.0 port, 8 RJ-45 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet ports of which 2 ports provide PoE (Power over Ethernet), two RS-232 internal headers, a 5VDC power connector and headers, and a Mini DP++ video connector. Ships with Mini DP++ to HDMI Cable.
