Arnouse Digital Devices Corp. (ADDC), an industry leader in small form-factor, portable computing, is pleased to announce the successful roll out and adoption of one of its newest product offerings: the PodCom™-AV product line.
ADDC began development of the PodCom™-AV in response to the needs of the U.S. Department of Defense (“DoD”) for mission computer capable of controlling SDRs (Software Defined Radios), SD-WAN (Software Defined Networking) and aggregating sensor data in military aircraft. The PodCom™-AV filled this gap. Its small form factor and weight permitted the replacement of a legacy computers with PodCom™-AVs to provide mission critical compute components.
ADDC began designing the PodCom™-AV in 2021. ADDC shipped the first PodCom™-AV in later-2022. In the summer of 2024, DoD selected engineering firms certified that the PodCom™-AV met or exceeded the demanding requirements of MIL-STD-810G (including shock and vibration), MIL-STD-704F (compatibility and reliability of electrical systems in military aircraft), and MIL-STD-461G (resistance to electromagnetic interference). Within one year of receiving these certifications, ADDC has delivered over $15 million worth of the PodCom™-AV to the U.S. DoD.
