ARNOUSE DIGITAL DEVICES CORP. Granted U.S. Patent for Secure KVM/Bare Metal fiber Optic Computing, LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y – December 1, 2024
Arnouse Digital Devices Corp. (ADDC), an industry leader in small form-factor, portable computing, proudly announces that it has been awarded U.S. Patent No. 12,149,286 (‘286 Patent). The ‘286 Patent protects ADDC’s revolutionary KVM/Bare Metal Fiber Optic switching technology. The protection under the ‘286 Patent covers electronic secure communication devices switching between up to four separate computers. The new patent applies where a programmed microcontroller routes voice or data from one of four wired communication ports to one of four fiber optic ports at a time, without interference or crosstalk from the other fiber optic and wired ports. This innovation allows the users to maintain a remote desktop infrastructure (RDI) where they can assign specific fiber optic ports a distinct security level, such as unclassified, classified, secret, or top secret, tied to four different bare metal servers. Thus, from one remote location of up to 25 miles away, a user may switch access between distinct computer environments, each securely isolated based on their respective security classifications.
Significantly, the ‘286 Patent covers ADDC’s commercialization of this technology in its Bare Metal RDI product line. ADDC Chairman and CEO, Michael Arnouse said “This is an exciting development, underscoring ADDC’s leading role in providing our customers with secure communications and computing environments. ADDC’s Bare Metal RDI provides ultra secure hardware options for Tempest environments that conserves office space. ADDC’s SR20-FDD or SR10-FDD coupled with our Super Rex and Lex eliminates the need to have four computers in the user’s office.”
